AUCTIONS

An auction is one of the most effective asset disposition methods available, specifically when there are time constraints, and has the ability to convene a global buyers market. A well-planned and executed auction is not only highly advantageous to both the seller and buyer, it sets the standard for prices and valuation across industries.

BTA utilizes old fashion principles combined with state-of-the-art auction software technology to provide a seamless experience, whether you’re bidding in person or from the convenience of your home or office. We provide our clients with innovative on-site auctions, real-time webcast auctions, timed online auctions, or any combination of the three.

Whether there are few selected items to auction or an entire plant, the BTA team is fully equipped with the knowledge and experience to design and implement a unique, turnkey auction event. From precise planning and targeted marketing strategy to set-up, lotting and the final de-installation and removal of equipment, we take all of the hassle out of the process for our clients.

APPRAISALS

Professional appraisals provide a reliable foundation for critical business decisions, and Brian Testo Associates (BTA) brings extensive experience and specialized expertise to each engagement. Our team accurately evaluates client and company assets by considering current market conditions, demand trends, age and condition, technology obsolescence, and overall supply and demand dynamics. With a proven methodology and an unwavering commitment to accuracy, we deliver appraisals that stand up to the highest levels of scrutiny and provide clarity in complex situations.

BTA offers both Inventory Valuations and Machinery & Equipment (M&E) Appraisals tailored to client needs. LIQUIDATIONS

More than a simple ‘Going Out of Business’ sign is required to effectively sell a company’s assets at maximum valuation. BTA takes into account current market trends and values relating to particular assets at the time of sale to create the most effective asset disposition strategy in order to best serve the particular needs and obligations of the company. In this way we are able to plan for and achieve the highest recovery value for assets being sold off.

Where assets are highly specialized and/or industry-specific, an orderly liquidation sale is often the most effective way to achieve desired results. At BTA, we customize the liquidation sale strategy with customized advertising and asset marketing to fit each clients unique goals and objectives. Beyond advertising, we also actively solicit buyers from a comprehensive database and our highly motivated and enthusiastic sales team is on-hand from day one to catalogue the company’s assets, set target selling prices and to negotiate sales to ensure that items are sold at the highest possible price.

INSPECTIONS

Our Asset Verification Service is a standalone inspection option for clients who need a visual assessment of assets without a full appraisal. Following the inspection, we provide a detailed report that documents the facility, location, and assets, supported by photographs and comprehensive asset listings with all available information.

This service offers accurate and complete documentation to support loan verification, insurance compliance, maintenance planning, and transactions—delivering practical insights without the scope of a full appraisal. Backed by the same expertise and attention to detail that define our appraisal work, BTA ensures reliable, professional reporting for every asset inspected.
